  • Register and activate a bulk SMS system for instant communication.
  • Create professional emails for all elected BECs.
  • Digitise BBF reporting to make the process faster.
  • Post Examiners directory online for easy collaboration.
  • Launch a Teachers' Resource Hub with free materials and tools.

  • Champion JS Teachers in Co-Curricular Activities: Advocate for resources, support, and leadership roles for Junior Secondary School teachers.
  • Champion for JS Separate Administration: Push for an independent administrative structure for Junior Secondary schools.
  • Lobby for Fair Promotions: Advocate for clear, fair, and timely promotions based on merit, experience, and qualifications.
  • Data Collection on Promotions: Collect and analyze data on teacher promotions within Murang'a County.
  • Negotiate CBAs with monetary benefits and better working conditions.
  • Lobby for review of CPG and advocate for automatic upward mobility after every four years of service.
  • KNEC Examiner Training Sponsorship: Fund teachers annually for training as KNEC examiners.
  • Co-Curricular Training Sponsorship: Provide sponsorship for teachers to train as adjudicators, referees, and coaches.
  • Full Sponsorship of Murang'a Teachers Fun Day.
  • National Teachers Tournament: Support teams representing Murang'a.
  • Teachers County League: Set-up county league for teachers in all 9 sub-counties.
  • Gender Equity: Advocate for gender-balanced leadership in schools and union structures.
  • Support for PLWDs: Promote workplace accommodations and inclusive practices.
  • Marginalized Groups Inclusion: Ensure representation for minority ethnic groups and under-resourced schools.
  • Youth and Career Support: Create mentorship and professional development programs for young teachers.
  • Open Financial Reporting: Publish quarterly and annual financial reports.
  • Audit Committees: Establish independent audit committees including member representatives.
  • Decision-Making Transparency: Document and share minutes from union meetings and votes.
